What if your dream…

…could be reality?

Decision Maker: Helping you decide whether to move to Australia

[This programme was created before the global pandemic. It’s still so important for you to work out where you want to spend your future when the lockdowns are over and the world begins to open up again. While there are a lot of things you can’t do at the moment, you CAN spend time making decisions about whether the move is right for your family. – Karen]

Hey there decision maker, I see you!

I know you lead a happy life. It’s busy, but fine. You have a lot to be grateful for.

You’re safe. You have a good job. A home you like. Friends and family close by. Your life is fine.

But…you can’t help but feel like there is something more out there for you than just ‘fine’.

What would your life be like if you lived somewhere with wide open spaces, better weather, incredible beaches, bigger houses and a totally different lifestyle to the one you’re leading right now? What would your life be like if you followed your dreams and moved to Australia?

Could you possibly risk everything you have in your comfortable life (that safety, security and ease) for something that might be spectacular? Something that would challenge you, excite you, test you and push you far outside your comfort zone into a totally unknown (but exhilarating) future?

Moving to Australia can feel like an absolutely massive decision to make and it’s hard knowing where to begin on your own when you don’t know anybody else who has done it.

You’ve found this website for a reason. You’re stuck about deciding where your future lies and you’re feeling overwhelmed with making such a life-altering decision.

I’m here to help you work out whether you want to move to Australia once and for all.

I'm ready to decide if my future is in Australia

You can stay safe, or you can live your dreams.
You can’t have both.

“Can’t thank you enough Karen for all of your advice over on Facebook and the many many tools on your website! Honestly so grateful for this.”

– Katharine

it’s scary thinking about giving up everything you know and moving to the other side of the world

I get it. But, trust me, that nagging feeling about moving to Australia won’t go away on its own, no matter how much you try to ignore it. It’s like an itch that you just can’t scratch. Even if you try to hide from it, you’ll find it creeps up on you again later when it might be too late to do something about it. The only way to deal with it is to face it head-on.

If you’re struggling to decide whether the move to Australia is right for your family, the Decision Maker programme was created just for you. It gives you the tools you need to decide if a new life in Australia is right for your family or not.

It takes you from feeling stuck and scared to feeling confident about where your future lies.

‘The Facebook group and especially Karen and Veronika have been an amazing support and helped us with tough decisions and problems throughout the whole process. The advice we have received made us believe that emigrating was actually possible and wasn’t just a dream.

The people that you have recommended complete the stepping stone adventure that we are all trying to achieve. At home we talk about the [Move to Australia Facebook] group weekly with the discussions everyone has and advice/experience people provide gives it a great community feeling but we have never met. I’m so pleased that I emailed you Karen 3 years ago for advice on emigrating as you gave us the confidence to try.

Thank you. X’

It’s time to make that decision and live the rest of your life!

We debated about whether to move to Australia for over FIVE years. That was five years of not feeling settled, constantly worrying about whether we were making the right decision, five years of agonising about whether our lives would be better in Australia or the UK. It was so difficult.

Every day I’m so thankful that we made the effort to make a decision and that we took action towards our dream.

You see, making no decision was actually making a decision to stay stuck.

Making no decision, was actually deciding to say ‘no‘.

“This [Move to Australia Facebook] group has helped us enormously, I initially made contact with Karen after reading one of her wonderful articles in the Australia and New Zealand magazine. Karen has offered us her support by providing not only accurate information but much needed reassurance as we draw closer to making the move down under. The group as a whole provides timely feedback and no question is too silly to ask. I check the group daily and even if I have not asked for advice personally, myself and my husband are often able to gain a lot from other members questions and feedback.”

The written content, practical downloads, audio and video recordings will help you fully get to grips with your options and I’ll have you taking physical action towards making that decision. This is something you can’t put off any longer!

You will have direct contact with me in the free Move to Australia Facebook group to answer your questions as you go through the content – I’m here to help you every step of the way.

“The Facebook group has helped me so much. It’s one place you can talk to people who have done what you are trying to do and find out tips etc. I found the website a real one stop shop that answered all of my initial questions. I have contacted a partner about help with a visa and this was also great. I also love having the time to sit and read the blog posts which are always informative. It’s a fantastic combined resource that I check in on most days. I am so glad I found it. Thank you for setting up an amazing resource and all your help Karen..”

By the end of this program…

  • You’ll have addressed all of the things currently stopping you from making a decision about where to spend your future.
  • You’ll know whether moving to Australia is possible.
  • You’ll know whether moving to Australia is practical for your family situation and your finances.
  • You’ll have worked through your options for the future and will have a clear idea about where you want to live.

My dream may not be your dream

I’m not here to sell you on the Australian dream of sand, sea and surf. The truth is, moving to Australia is hard work and it’s expensive. It takes a lot of time and energy. It’s emotional and exhausting. Yes, there are lots of rewards, but you need to 100% want this and have the right mindset. This move is not for everybody, and that is OK.

I’m here to help you work out whether the move is for you or not so you can get on with living your life without the weight of this decision holding you back anymore. It may be perfect for you or it may not be right  – but all I know is that you need to decide one way or the other quickly or your opportunity to do it might have passed you by without you even realising.

There are two times in life: Right now, or too late

Nobody knows what the future holds for any of us and we can’t change the past, so this is your time RIGHT NOW to take action to make a decision, once and for all! No more doubts and no more worries or regrets. No more saying ‘maybe we’ll do it one day‘ without any real intention.

WHY TODAY?

It is SO important to see it through as soon as possible and make a decision one way or the other because if you carry on making no decision, then you could find that you’re no longer eligible.

No decision = you deciding to say no. But actually choosing to say ‘no‘ is so much more powerful.

If moving to Australia isn’t right for you, then you need to decide that and then you can search for what it is that you do want to do!

How we almost missed out

We almost lost our chance to move to Australia by spending too long debating our options. After five years of thinking about it, my husband’s skills got removed from the Skilled Occupation List the week we decided we wanted to move to Australia. Thankfully, we were lucky to find an incredible agent who helped us work out that we were eligible under a slightly different occupation as his job and skills crossed over two job titles (phew). But not everybody is that lucky.

Please don’t delay and end up regretting it. Even if you decide not to buy this programme, just focus on making that decision and then move forward from there. I can’t tell you how important it is to take action on this RIGHT NOW!

I'm in - get me started!

“Karen, I’ve come to realise that you’re an amazing relocation guru but also an inspiring life coach. Thank you for your encouraging words…I absolutely LOVE your story. It’s so relative to our situation and reminded me that we’ve conquered hurdles in the past. I’ll be sure to keep up the spirits and forge forward. …THANK YOU.”

– Maria

Frequently asked questions: Is Decision Maker is right for me?

Who is the Decision Maker programme for?

Decision Maker is for anyone who has been agonising over whether to move to Australia or not.

It’s a good idea for you to have a basic idea of your eligibility before you invest in the programme because the purpose of this programme is helping you to dive deep and decide if you want to move or not. If you find out at the beginning of the programme that you aren’t eligible, then that takes the choice away from you.

The programme does walk you through the process of speaking with migration agents to confirm your eligibility though – just be aware that there are no refunds if you find that becomes a hurdle for you beyond the 24-hour money back guarantee.

Does it matter where I'm based?

My own personal experience is moving from the UK to Australia, but the Decision Maker programme content applies no matter where you are in the world. The migration agent that I partner with is based in Wales but takes on clients internationally. If you decide to use an agent, you can choose any agent you like so you can find one in your home country if you prefer. The programme content guides you to making an informed choice about agents so you can find one that suits your needs.

This programme is about helping you to determine whether the move is right for you to move to Australia, and it doesn’t matter where you are moving from.

Do I have to follow a schedule for the programme?

No, this is a self-paced programme and you have lifetime access to it. I would encourage you to set aside time to work on it over the period of a few days so that you get a result quickly though. I think it is best done over the period of a week or two to allow yourself some quiet time in between to think things through.

Can YOU tell me if I'm eligible for a visa?

I’m not a migration agent and am not able to give you visa advice. The program points you towards the official government website for visa information, and guides you through the process of checking your initial eligibility through a migration agent. You don’t have to go on to use a migration agent, but I encourage you to speak to one at the early stages to get the most up to date advice on your options.

What happens if I go through the Decision Maker programme and decide I want to move to Australia?

I will soon be launching a new membership programme that will help support you through the moving process and beyond. If you purchase Decision Maker, you will be one of the first to hear about it so you can take advantage of any special launch offers.

Will the Decision Maker programme be available all the time?

It will be available all the time because it’s such an important subject. I didn’t want to only launch it a couple of times a year – if you’re struggling to make the decision about whether to move to Australia, you need to get a move on NOW and make the decision because tomorrow anything could happen. There are too many things that could get in the way of you moving – visa rules could change, you could cross an age barrier which reduces your points, you could get ill or have an accident – DO NOT WAIT as there may not be time. Make the decision as quickly as you can, even if it feels daunting.

The programme is currently for sale on a special launch offer. The price will increase soon. If you want to get hold of it at this price, now is your chance!

Courage is the willingness to act in spite of fear.

One final bit of wisdom. If you decide to make the move to Australia, you will likely still feel anticipation about doing it. This programme will give you clarity and confidence around your decision which makes it so much easier, but it won’t remove all of the fear about making such a big move. The best way to get through the fear is by surrounding yourself with others who are on the same journey as you – let them support you and inspire you as you follow your adventure. You can achieve anything when you surround yourself with the right people.
